Confirmation and saints

for confirmation we are soupposed to start to look at saints and eventlully pick one. where can i go to find about saints and what are some good ones?
 
I don’t know your age but if you are a young person start with your parents or Grandparents. Ask them who their favorite Saints are and why. Your parish should have a loaning library. You should be able to obtain a book of the lives if Saints. If not, Borders Books and B&N carry Fr. Hardon’s dictionary of Saints and other books on Saints and their lives.

May I recommend you do some research on St Joan of Arc. Mark Twain wrote a good book on her that you may enjoy. “The Personal Recollections of Joan of Arc.” She was a teenage girl when she was martyred.
