what is required to qualify as a Eucharistic minister?
A Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion should be a fully initiated Catholic(Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation). EMHC is the new term for lay people who distribute communion. The reason for this is that priests are the only ministers of the Eucharist.
and what do we call the season and feats that make up the church’s year of worship?
There are a number of seasons. The liturgical year starts off with Advent. After Advent you have the Christmas season. Then you have Ordinary Time for a time followed by Lent. After Lent you have the Easter season. After the Easter season you are in Ordinary Time again.

Ordinary Time is the name for the time in which it is not a special season. Advent is a preparation of the birth of Christ. Christmas is in celebration of Christ’s arrival. Lent is a the season in which we prepare ourselves for Easter through penance and prayer. Easter season is in the celebration of Jesus’ resurrection.

There are a large number of feasts throughout the year. Every apostle has a feast day. There are also feasts for Mary like the Immaculate Conception, the Assumption, the Visitation. There are also feasts for Christ like the Presentation, Corpus Christi which celebrates the Body of Christ. There are also feasts like the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. There are feasts for dedications of churches like St. John Lateran Cathedral. Lastly there are memorials that the Church celebrates. There are obligatory and optional memorials. A couple obligatory memorials are for St. Benedict or St. Padre Pio. A couple optional memorials are St. Juan Diego or St. John of Capristano.

God Bless,
Matt

How can we tell who is your cardinal if we don’t know where you live?

I think you need to first google your diocese and go to their web site. The other answers should be there, as well, and tailored to your diocese wording.
