I was signed up and today after Mass I went to my first Confirmation class!

We ‘graduate’ Nov. 19. If you could pray for me and everyone in my class it would be much appreciated.

Now to pick a Saint name…

As for a saint . . . Michael is a great name.

Please Pick a Saint for a reason, think and pray. I chose St Raymond of Penyafort, first of all Raymond was my deceased father inlaw’s name who taught me a alot about being a catholic. Second as I read about St. Raymond I felt a certain connection to him and what he did. I did not like those people at my RCIA who chose a name by opening the book of Saints and blindly picking one.

I always wanted to pick Mary but at the time of my confirmation the sister teaching the class said it really was “old fashioned” to pick a new name and it really isn’t done anymore -unless you* really* wanted to. I wasn’t as outspoken as I am now, I wish I had been. Oh well.
