Hello,
I have gone through all steps of baptism and communion. However, I have stopped going to the parish I took those steps through. Can I get confirmed at a different parish or do I have to stay at my old parish? Are there any online ways to be confirmed?

You cannot be confirmed “online” – as the rite involves being anointed and the laying on of hands by the bishop, or by a priest who has been granted permission to confirm by the bishop.

Check with the parish you attend to find out what you will need to do. Various parishes and dioceses handle things in different ways.

Confirmation can take place anywhere over the age of reason depending on the diocese. Many dioceses confirm high school age people so if you fit in that demographic it may just be a matter of resuming your religious formation.

If you are older there are again different options. Some parishes or dioceses offer adult confirmation classes where you will prepare for the sacrament. Some parishes fold adult confirmation in with RCIA. Your parish will help you get started with whatever it is they offer.
