yeah i knew someone was going to say that. (about adoption) you know what i mean. i want my baby. not having stable married parents is a big deal BUT me and my family love the baby and will raise him\her Catholic… so he or she would be cared for with us. i have spoken to priests, social workers, CCS… i love my priests but CCS didnt offer much. The adoption counselor is very nice and I am still considering if adoption might be best choice for baby, but honestly I hope not 😦
There is nothing wrong with keeping a child conceived out of wedlock, provided you have the resources to do so. It does allow you to ensure personally that the child is raised in the faith, as well.

Pray to St. Joseph and Our Lady; I think that will help you.

which advice do you think was bad? wheter to see babys father or not?
No, I’m praying for you and your baby. I strongly suggest that you do get some proper help. I also hope that you could go to an adoration chapel and maybe sit in a pray and ask God what His plans would be and what you should do. Adoption doesn’t have to be an end, but a beginning and many domestic adoptions do have some sort of open arrangement. Trying to raise a child with constant help from grandparents or even trying to co-parent with the dad does have issues too and sometimes the child becomes a hockey puck being bounced around to different people. I’m not saying keeping the baby is wrong at all but thinking that people that make an adoption plan don’t love the child. Again I’ve been praying for you and your baby.

i am kind of tired of CAF. i never said i thought people who make an adoption plan dont love their children . also, everyone is always stating the obvious on here. really not helpful. answer the questions i ask not the ones you assume i have. if i tell you i have met with an adoption counselor, you think i dont know about open adoption? i have been pregnant and worrying for months now, you think i havent considered the pros and cons of my options a million times? really. thank you for your prayers but i am tired of CAF.

There is no one here that can tell you if you should keep some kind of ongoing relationship with the dad or if you need to or not. That is something you need to sort out with a counselor or therapist. I think that is what I mean by “bad advice”. No one can tell you that because none of us know you or even him and anything about the both of you. Crisis pregnancy centers have a lot of very good and practical help and even if there isn’t a Catholic one available, crisis pregnancy centers that are pro-life are where you should be heading and I think discuss with them what you should do with the dad and what legal rights or not he may or may not have, especially if you move back home. All those issue need to be sorted out with a live body.
