Oy: vay.
Once upon a time, some forty odd years ago, I observed to my mother (may she rest in peace), that I couldn’t find a pocket-sized New Testament anywhere, and I wanted one that I could stick in my purse.
Mama did some homework (and considering that this was long,
long before the’Net; in fact, we still were, I believe, sweeping

pterodactyl bones off the porch every morning…deposited there by the:wink: Wild Poodles Who Were Roaming the Earth In Those Days…Considering that, it was no mean feat), and found that there was such a New Testament. With decent print & colored prints of Bible scenes, yet. It was the Confraternity Version of the Bible, and she bought it for me.
Now, as I say, that was many years ago, and I am an old lady, and some of my teeth are missing, and some of the ones I have left aren’t as sharp as they used to be,
but–
If you can show me the place in my Confraternity NT, that it says what you claim that it says–
I will
eat it.
The whole book.
On Primetime Television.
With ketchup and a kaiser roll.
It’s a school, I’m telling you. For Anti-Catholic Goofiness. Somewhere in the Hollow Earth, there it lies, guarded by Men Armed With Iron Spears & Stone Hammers.
It’s turning out people who quote this:yawn: nonsense even as we speak.
It’s the only answer. People couldn’t be coming up with all this stuff on their own. It just** has** to be a school…
