Hello y’all I was wondering if I can join the Confraternity of Saint Peter and one of the requirements is Members must be Catholics who are at least 14 years of age and I am 13. If I can not join then please list Confraternities I can join. I am already part of the Confraternity of the Rosary. (I say 3 Rosaries a day Joyful, Sorrowful, and Glorious.)
 
Hi, why don’t you try asking one of the FSSP priests if you could join even with your age? I think they would be happy to have you as a member 🙂

I have the utmost respect for this, good work.

I am a member of the Confraternity of Angelic Warfare, it is an excellent Confraternity dedicated to praying for purity through the intercession of St Thomas Aquinas, Our Lady of the Rosary, and all the Holy Angels. A Dominican priest or any priest given faculties by the Dominicans can enroll you. The requirements are to wear a medal or a kind of rope around your waist, to pray two set prayers (one to Jesus and one to St Thomas Aquinas, and to pray 15 Hail Mary’s daily.

And of course there’s the Brown Scapular Confraternity - any priest can enroll you in this one.
 
I am also in the Confraternity of The Red or Passion Scapular.
The White or Trinity Scapular.
The Brown or Our Lady of Mount Carmel Scapular.
The Black or Our Lady of Sorrows Scapular.
The Blue or The Immaculate Virgin Mary Scapular. since I wear the 5 fold Scapular. Also I am waiting to join the Angelic Warfare Confraternity since one of the requirement is to be confirmed and I will be April 24!
 
Are you thinking of joining the Marian Confraternity? They have a devotion to praying for the holy souls, and I think they also wear the Blue Scapular?

The scapular you just mentioned it is part of the 5 fold.
 
Be patient Lad. You’ll be turning 14 soon, then you can join. But by all means talk with an FSSP priest. The local pastor has really no say but I’m sure he can give you sound advise.

The Confraternity has set up rules for a reason. 🙂

The Passionists have a Confraternity of the Passion that I don’t think has an age requirement associated with it. There is a black scapular of the Passion that incorporates the Passionist Sign that was given by the Lord to Saint Paul of the Cross, the founder of the Congregation.
