Describe each one The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. Are three of them are same and one. And Spirit is same as Soul if different than explain. Point if three of them are same and one. Then who do Jesus response too during his stay in the earth. Some christian says that he is fully human and fully God. If he is fully God than who is The Father. Is there is two Gods by christians.

These are basic answers which especially Muslims are concern. Please feel free to describe with your best.

I take it you will try to use this thread to attack the Catholic faith as well as the other (and very similar threads) did and do?

My friend… let me direct you to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, available for a nominal cost at any respectable book store. In it, you will find the andwer to THIS question, as well as every other question you try to use to take stabs at the one and True Church of God.

Might I ask a question of you?.. Did Mohammed resurect or perform miracles? I know the answer is no, but thats how some of us Catholics view these attempts at debunking our faith; you KNOW the answer you want to hear, you are trying to set people up to disuade them to your false beliefs.

We’ve answered this for you before. You seem to insist that Christians are polytheistic. If that’s what you want to believe…🤷

Anyone who denies that Jesus is fully God, fully Man is NOT a Christian.

There is One God, consisting of three persons, equal in nature.

They are NOT three Gods. The triple point of water is a good illustration. At absoulte zero in a vaculum Water by nature H2O exists in all three states, liquid, soild and gas. There is volunterarly rank in the Godhead of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

When speaking about God we are speaking of the “spirit” realm, and there is no reason to believe that the “spirit” realm must conform to our understanding of the physical world.

Thus one times one times one times one is one.

Actually the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the "New American Bible [the main English Catholic bible] is free on line if you don’t want to spend the money on either.

click on the tabs at the top for both or other choices or just go direct to either source. The “Topic” is a good search engine.

Well, there are limits to what can be understood about the Trinity because it is a mystery that is beyond basic human comprehension. That being said, I will try to lay out the basic Catholic Belief.

The Trinity is God generally described as being three persons in one being. In other words, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit do not have existence independent of each other and indeed cannot in any way be really separated. At the same time, they are distinct persons (this is where that whole mystery part comes in).

Likewise, Jesus was both the Son (and therefore, indivisibly part of God) and Man. The Gospel of John chapter 1 makes this very clear.

Though God is of one being, there is a genuine love between the three persons in the Trinity and the Son and the Holy Spirit are subordinate to the Father (though since they are of one being, I think it is safe to say that calling them subordinate is likely claiming my hand is subordinate to my brain; ultimately they are of one purpose (at least I believe so). Therefore, Jesus, though God, submits to the Father’s will, both as the Son and as an example to us. Ultimately, just as an act of disobedience caused man’s fall, so only perfect obedience could allow us to be redeemed.

Anyway, I hope that helps answer your questions.

I hope you are asking these questions genuinely in order to undesratnd Chrsitian’ theology on the Trinity.

You will only degenerate this thread if these questions are only comouflages for you to attack the concept of ChristianTrinity with your preconcieved idea of what it is

So good luck and let us see how genuine you are.

God bless you.

There is a Muslim poster, Sister Amy, a confessed ex-Christian, perhaps she should take note of this. I am not sure but she seems to disagree with this.

God is a spirit. Therefore, like all spirits, he knows and he loves. His knowledge and his love inherit his divine nature. His divine nature is infinite, and can not be separated. Therefore, his knowledge and his love posses the total divine nature.

His knowledge, aka The Word, became man; Jesus.

His love is the giver of life; The Holy Spirit.

Therefore, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, are God because they completely posses the total divine nature.

P.S. You need to read Frank Sheed’s book, Theology for Beginners.

I’m a son, a US citizen and of Italian ancestry. Does that make me three different things?

That does not make you three persons. That is a bad analogy because God is three persons with one divine nature. They are distinct - but they are not separate because they know with the same intellect and love with the same will.

Thanks for that bud. :o  You sure know how to make all Catholics look good, don’t you? Rather than privately telling me, you made all Catholics look like idiots, including myself. Thank you again.

That was my point, it doesn’t make me three persons. It sounds to me like you’re stepping into miaphysitism, unless you didn’t mean to not clarify. God the Son has the Divine Nature and the Human Nature. Divine Will, and Human Will.

Sorry, I don’t understand your intentions with your posts.

Let’s start again. Do you believe that God is three persons? I do. And it’s driving muslims crazy. I was trying to explain how God can be three persons, but each in the same divine nature - knowing with same intellect and loving with the same will.

Only christians can understand this because it takes christian faith to believe what was revealed in the bible. Human beings would never have worked out the Trinity if it wasn’t revealed in the bible.

I don’t have the words or skills because I’m not a theologian - although I wish I was.

God = Father (Allah), His Word, His Spirit…the Word and Spirit proceed from the Father so they are subordinate to the Father in this sense (so Jesus is subordinate to the Father), but they are equal in essence (Jesus is equal in essence to the Father) since the Father, His Word and His Spirit have existed eternally as One God.

So when the Father creates, He creates by His Word and Spirit…in other words, the Father, His Word and His Spirit existed before any creation.

You have some great answers here; unlike some other threads that have been started.

If you think you are confused now, you would be much more confused if I attempted to answer all your questions at once - I might even be more confused than you. Permit me to offer my view of Spirit and soul because they are not the same.

Spirit is God or as Moses said, “God is Spirit”. Your soul is the part of you which uses your body to communicate with others.
