Hi, I’m Not Quite Sure Where To Start. What I Do Know Is That I’m Re-examining My Faith. I Was Born Into The Catholic Religion, But I’ve Studied A Little Of LDS, Jehova Witness, And Christian Religion. Every One Seemed To Give Me Some Peace And Comfort But The Christian Religion With Their Music And Song, The Preacher Who With So Much Emotion Tells Us The Good News Really Makes Me Feel Great. Is It Wrong For Me To Question My Catholic Religion In Regards To Thinking It’s So Old And Diciplinary, I Don’t Think I Understand The Liturgy At Church And It Gets Boring. I’m Trying To Instill Faith To My Children But I’m Having A Hard Time With That. I’m Also Currently Going Through Some Rough Times With My Teenage Daughter. I’m So Lost. What I Do Know Is I Love The Lord, I Love Christ, And I Want My Children To Be Able To Feel That Beautiful Feeling As Well.

Dear, dear Mari
I know exactly how you feel. I was raised a protestant. But I felt the same way about the protestant churches/faith. I kept “feeling” like there was “something” I was missing. I started praying.
TEN (10) years, I prayed. I, too, visited alot of other churches, (all protestant), but none satisified my yearning. I didn’t know what I was yearning for. Then one Sunday morning, finally, I got my answer. AND when I got it, it was beyond a shadow of a doubt, The church I was led to was the one and only Catholic Church. The first time I got out of my car and put my foot on the church ground, this thought raced through my mind…“Take your shoes off, you’re walking on Holy ground”. and I started shaking. The first mass I went to, was a peace like I had never felt before in my life, and I have been a christian since I was 16 years old. You are going through a time in your life where things just don’t seem right. When there are alot of troubles, we all feel are prayers are bouncing off the ceiling. (remember it took me 10 years)But keep the faith, (The ONE Catholic faith), keep trusting and expecting a miracle and yours will come. Don’t lose faith. I’ll keep you and your family in my prayers, and I am positively expecting a miracle for you, just as it happened to me.My love to you :console: :console: all and peace be with you,
 
Dear MARIMUNOZ , I WELCOME YOU TO OUR WONDERFUL CAF PRAYER FORUM . You are a child of God and a Catholic and you were led by our Lord to this point . Do not doubt . God is holding your hand . Lord hold your daughter Marimunoz and embrace her and give her the faith to hold onto her faith and to you my Lord . Lord help her with all her problems and with her daughter . Lord let her daughter see love in her mother and see you in her mom and to get closer to you Lord. Dear Lord bring peace- love- harmony into the life and family of Marimunoz. . Thank you so very much for your reply. I can’t tell you how comforted I felt to know some one else is out there praying for me and my family. I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to thank you all. My computer skills are not all that great. I continue to pray and wait patiently. Once again thanks for your prayers and support.
