Are you looking for genealogy resources or cultural information?
Hey thanks, Ive ordered that book at chapters, I will let you know how it goes. I took a peek at that site too. Actually Im looking for both info. Cultural and genealogy,
I have to get a hold of my cousin and see if she has Grandmas birth certificate and I guess death. Im hoping otherwise I will have to dig. I know they lived in Waterford but not sure where she was born.

Grandma met Grandpa in England when she was in nursing school, they had my Aunt, served in the war, came to Canada and then Mom. I have another cousin to ask as well about things.
If I can get the info together then Id like to apply for dual citizenship. Not sure why but its been a bug in my ear for yrs. I wish Id known about it when Mom was alive, apparentely she didnt know.
Heres a possible odd question, do you think its a good idea? Would I be looked on badly or as trying to honor my Grandma? Do you think there would be a downside? The only one I know of is if I go somewhere with a Irish passport and happen to get into trouble, then Im not going to Canada.
I cant explain why but its just something I want to do.

thus why Im also interested in the cultural.
