Being somewhat dyslexic I find this website (Catholic Form) to be very confusing to navigate. Which is a good comparative lesson to learn about how man has confused the message plainly evident in the bible. The simple message Jesus left us is two fold.
  1. Do unto others as you would be done by.
  2. Solitude Prayerful attention (Meditative Prayer)
All the man made religious rites and rituals are superficial to the development of ones true spirituality.
Most likely you will not have the courage to publish my short note onto your website as the truth is hard to understand.

Welcome to CAF:) We’ve seen far more strident messages from others proclaiming their personal lock on the truth that they think Catholics need to hear. No worries about the courage of Catholics to hear the latest claim. 🙂

Yes, if there’s one thing the bible teaches us it is that God didn’t teach his Old Testament people any rituals or rites (or rules, for that matter). The first and foremost lesson of the Old Testament is that God cares nothing for such things. 😃

Have you looked into changing the forum viewing preferences? There may be a way of viewing that would be less confusing to you.

Since there are many dyslexic people, perhaps someone has already come up with a web browser (or plug in) that would help your whole internet experience.

I know there are screen readers for those who are blind or with low vision–the whole internet would be pretty inaccessible and confusing for them with out one.

Perhaps there is something out there for you!

Leave it to the catholics. A person comes in here arrogantly presuming to teach us truth (although in reality offering the same ideas from hundreds of years ago), calling us cowards, and what do the catholics do?

Suggest things that would help them to cope with their disability.

Faith and love. Thank you for a good chuckle, Mary 😃

welcome to the forums.
perhaps you’ve missed in the bible where it says the Church is the “pillar and bullwark” of truth so Truth is nothing new to the Church.

In reply to your reply (Feb 26/09) in reference to me calling Catholics cowards, that is not what I said nor did I make any reference to such a statement. I made a statement to the editor of this website challenging them to post my message. When one is dysliex it is not always easy to convey the message in words and then combine the frustration of trying to punch the right buttons on the website to get my thoughts out can be annoying . No sympathy me, that is not what I seek. I stuck with this mind frame and have to deal with it the best I can.
I have not spell checked or revised what I have written. This is the classic example of being dysliex.

Peace be with you

I’m glad someone “got it”. 😃

Now, talk about confusing. Has the “skin” for the forum changed for anyone else?

It was confusing for a few days, and I have not been diagnosed as dyslexic…

But I think I’ve gotten used to it now.
