I’m going to start reading “33 Days to Morning Glory” soon and begin my concecration. I have done some research and have a good understanding of what this devotion means.

I wanted to know from others who are also concecrated; Are all my prayers, sacrifices, fasts and such going to go through her to Jesus? Even prayers to other saints for their intercession? Or prayers directed to the Father or Holy Spirit? Can I just fast or offer it up to Mary anyways to be taken to Jesus?

We go to Jesus — and we ‘return’ to him — through Mary. - St. Josemaria Escriva

Our Lady is the Mediatrix of All Graces. Every grace you receive comes from God through the hands of the Blessed Mother. As Queen of Heaven and Earth, she plays an important role in the work of salvation. She is my mother and your mother. And she helps, guides and protects us all.

Never be afraid to go to Mary. She is the star of the sea that will lead you to Jesus. If you want to know, love and serve God go to the Mother of God and she will help you. Mary gives everything to Jesus and helps us become more like him.

Beautiful quote. I love the Blessed Mother and feel devoted to her. I just feel sometimes I might over step the boundary by offering her my sacrifices or if I fast for an intention and do it through her if I do not realize the end game will always go from her hands to Jesus. I have heard that their wills are so aligned grace doesn’t need to be “handed” from God to her but it flows so fully that she just gives us Gods grace.

TREATISE ON TRUE DEVOTION TO THE BLESSED VIRGIN
by Saint Louis de Montfort is a treasure!!
Well worth the time invested to read it through.

Go there and once you have this long page up, do a word seach finding any instances of ’sacrifice’. This may answer your questions (and more).

I just did the same with “holy spirit” and for hours I was stunned and amazed.
If I confide in you, Mother of God, I shall be saved. Under your protection I shall fear nothing. With your help I shall rout all my enemies. For devotion to you is a weapon of salvation which God gives to those he wishes to save.

It seems to me like everything we do as persons consecrated to Mary, goes through her, to Jesus. Which makes sense cause she’s the Mediatrix of All Graces. She gives everything to God of course, and makes it more beautiful for Him, as in the example St Louis de Montfort gives in his book. I highly recommend his book “True Devotion” as well 🙂 if you’d like Our Lady to apply a particular prayer or something you do for a particular intention, of course you can ask her, but leave it up to her decision, which is always in God’s Will.

God bless you
