Consecrated Wine Spilled

My son spilled consecrated wine on his shirt while recieving communion–Can you tell me what is proper and respectful thing to do? Thank you so much.

Rinse the shirt in plenty of water in a plastic tub and tip out the contents into your garden.
DO NOT USE SOAP.

By soaking the shirt in water, and the wine comes out, it is no longer in the form of wine, and therefore not the Precious Blood.

You can then wash the shirt as normal in the washing machine.

Immediately go into the sacristy and soak the spot with water. using a dry purificator soak up the water from the shirt as much as possible and rinse the purificator in the sacrarium.

Or remove the shirt and rince it directly in the sacrarium.
(This of course soaks the whole shirt.)

When you get home you can wash the shirt as normal.
