Greetings. I am a revert back to my Catholic faith for over 10 months now and have gloriously read more about Catholocism in my entire life. Everyday has been a blessing and I have never said “Thank you Jesus” more often in my life.
A friend gave me “True Devotion to Mary” by St. Louis De Montfront and I love it.
My friend suggested if I decide to make a consecration to Mary(which) i will, pick a feast day of Mary to end your consecration on, making it more special.
Question:
Anybody know a feast day of Mary in late October or November?

Why would ending my concecration be ending on a Marian feast day be so special?
Just curious,
Keith

All of October is the month of the Rosary, but October 7th specifically is the day of Our Lady of the Rosary, and October 8th is Our Lady of Good Remedy. Novemeber 21st is the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

As to why you should end the consecration on such a day, more of a Catholic Tradition I believe than anything else, like ending a Novena on the Feast Day of the Saint to whom the Novena is being prayed.
