What is the correct or appropriate time to say the consecration prayer?
Is it before the end of mass or after mass?

Hi twallace,
I would say any time is the appropriate time to make the consecration to our Blessed Mother whether that is before or after Mass.

I agree with before or after but can it be done in the service, say after communion before the final prayers and dismissal?

Hi twallace,
I see no reason why you cannot make the act of consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary after communion. We can present any number of prayers to Jesus after communion for it is then that we are in physical communion with Jesus. We make the act of consecration to Mary for this end: that we may more perfectly consecrate ourselves to Jesus. Jesus is the end of consecration to Mary.
