And so many other quotes. I posted these because when I am in a state similar to yours I read them and find that I can take the next small step to better personal change at whichever I am stirred up at.
 
I became pregnant before my husband and I were married. Would you advise me to feel anything except love for my son?
 
Thank you for this quotes, the first one really represents where I am at.
I hope with time it will feel easier, but for almost a year I am totally stuck and don’t feel any feedback from God, so its hard.
 
It can be difficult, but don’t stop trying to get better. I’ll pray for you, and perhaps you can pray with your family or someone close to you like your husband or best friend. It’s a good time to be surrounded by support and love, even if you feel like you may not deserve it.
 
Of course no… but there is s turmoil within me…

I guess it was a rookie mistake of letting myself be guided with my own ego rather than with Gods infinite wisdom (churches teaching). Hope to stop this inner critic now and feel peace within. I guess that should have been my original question.

It can be hard to change oneself, even with old habits, but it is possible. As my parish priest always says “we are all saints in the making”, and he means to say that we are always in a progress.
