“If such an article was written concerning the Islamic or Jewish faith, the public outcry would be overwhelming, and rightly so. But anti-Catholicism is the last acceptable form of bigotry…”
Looking more and more like the truth every day…

This creature is a sniveling coward. Some times being a forgiving catholic is sooo hard!

"Blessed are they that suffer persecution for justice’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye when they shall revile you, and persecute you, and speak all that is evil against you, untruly, for my sake: Be glad and rejoice, for your reward is very great in heaven. For so they persecuted the prophets that were before you." (Matthew 5:12) Douay-Rheims Bible

Jesus told us that we were going to be persecuted for following Him. Evil one is always trying to attack us and lead the world away from the Gospel. That is why we must stay together and strong. We must always have faith and trust in Jesus.

***“The Church has ever proved indestructible. Her persecutors have failed to destroy her; in fact, it was during times of persecution that the Church grew more and more; while the persecutors themselves, and those whom the Church would destroy, are the very ones who came to nothing. . . .Again, errors have assailed her; but in fact, the greater the number of errors that have arisen, the more has the truth been made manifest. . . . Nor has the Church failed before the assaults of demons: for she is like a tower of refuge to all who fight against the Devil.” *

It will never end but only serve to make one grow stronger in faith. Jesus suffered highly (for our sins.) We will never suffer as much as he did…? Onward Christian Soilders…

If the Huffnpuff Post suits the antiCatholic agenda, why WOULDNT our enemies use it? Words like “Truth” and “slander” don`t belong in their dictionary.

But everyone is in an uproar over Limbaugh calling that person a slut…even though he apologized? Do we not see a double standard?

Initially, when I read it I could feel myself getting annoyed - but it so OTT you just have to laugh out loud at it. Why do they fear the CC so much? ’

As someone pointed out - lets see how brave he would be condemning Islam, as a Danish cartoonist innocently did in a newspaper several years back.

*The Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons controversy began after 12 editorial cartoons, most of which depicted the Islamic prophet Muhammad, were published in the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten on 30 September 2005. The newspaper announced that this publication was an attempt to contribute to the debate regarding criticism of Islam and self-censorship.

Danish Muslim organizations that objected to the depictions responded by holding public protests attempting to raise awareness of Jyllands-Posten’s publication. Further examples of the cartoons were soon reprinted in newspapers in more than 50 other countries, further deepening the controversy.

Four months later, Muslims protested across the Islamic world, some of which escalated into violence with instances of firing on crowds of protestors resulting in a total of more than 100 reported deaths,[1] including the bombing of the Danish embassy in Pakistan ***and setting fire to the Danish Embassies in Syria, Lebanon and Iran, storming European buildings, and burning the Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, French and German flags in Gaza City.[2][3] Various groups, primarily in the Western world, responded by endorsing the Danish policies, including “Buy Danish” campaigns and other displays of support. Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen described the controversy as Denmark’s worst international crisis since World War II.[4]

**Amish, OK. Catholics, No. **
The Amish are exempt from the entire health care reform law. So are members of Medi-Share, a program of Christian Care Ministry. Yet, when the Catholic Church asks for a religious exemption from just one regulation issued under the law – the mandate that all employers, including religious institutions, must pay for sterilization and contraceptives, including abortion-inducing drugs – the Administration balks.
The government respects the First Amendment that guarantees the right to freely exercise one’s religious beliefs, but only to a point. In the health care law it picks and chooses which beliefs it respects. The Amish do not believe in insurance, and the government understands. Christian Care Ministry believes people should form a religious community and pay medical bills for one another, and the government says OK. Yet when the Catholic Church opposes being forced to pay for services that violate its beliefs, the Administration says “tough.”
What is so special about this mandate that it cannot be touched? It was added after Congress passed the health care law and offers no exemption for religious charitable or educational institutions. It will not accept Catholic charities and schools as “religious enough” unless they hire only Catholics, serve only Catholics, have the narrow tax exempt status granted to houses of worship, and teach religion as their purpose.

Saying he’s a former altar boy, Doyle, claims to have “seen behind the curtain” but escaped. He finishes by writing that he has an “obligation to expose this phony theology” and reminds readers that the last time a Roman Catholic was elected – John F. Kennedy – it ended tragically.

Yes, it ended tragically—the Catholic president was killed. Is this a thinly veiled warning another Catholic president would also be killed?

Scary times people.

Just who is starting this fight? Seems people are calling out the church to fight or die. Forget your religion or you will be gone.
