Didn’t they always hate it when the holodeck malfunctioned yet again…“Report”… “Everything is ship shape, Captain. Wait.(Data with a slight turn of the head and a quizzical look) I’m detecting a power surge emanating from the holodeck.”…"(naughty word)"

Maybe they should turn off their tv’s. That would be even better for their children.

I liked “Mule fritters!” I would add, “Pasture pastries!”
In regards to the original topic: These people making the complaint probably are the busybody, nosy neighbor type with nothing to do. The number of people ‘taking action”, (signing a petition perhaps?) was 8,000. Their name, “One million moms” is very misleading. Overinflation to exaggerate importance.
Also shows me that if you are bored, and try hard enough, you can find a monster under any bed.

I’d be far more concerned about something like the Chobani yogurt commercial that features two lesbians who have spent the night together in bed.
If a cave man from 10000 years ago woke up from his ice nap today and watched TV for the first time he would think 50% of the population was gay because that is how they are being represented in commercials.

I can’t imagine getting worked up over this. At first I thought it was satire.

Most commercials alluding to gay relationships are very discreet (merely shows two men or two women together, sitting on a couch or something) and you almost have to read “the gay thing” into the commercial. The old Volkswagen ad with the two men picking up a smelly old easy chair was alleged by some to be a “gay ad”, but I watched it many times and never came away with that interpretation in the least. The Chobani and Cottonelle ads are way over the top.

When I saw Joker a few months ago, I said to myself “finally — a Hollywood feature film without an obviously gay sympathetic character!”. The only remotely politically correct aspect of this film was the brief interracial relationship between Joaquin Phoenix’s character and his girlfriend, and of course there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. This was more like a European movie than an American one — the ending was as deeply disturbing as the entire movie itself.

I saw another one a while ago for home insurance. Man and woman couple, another, then two men looking over their new home.
P.s. I liked the stinky chair vw commercial. Along with the “Un-pimp de auto” ones.

These moms should be extremely thankful that they consider this a “problem”. Their lives must be near perfect for this to be a thing.
