I am a lifelong and active member of The Church of JESUS Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS or Mormon). I have had the privilege of reading, studying, and discussing LDS Church History and Doctrines with the most knowledgeable people both within and outside the LDS Church. I am well aware and well versed in the details of this Church.
Additionally, I am close friends with people of almost every major religion in the world. I love and cherish my association with people of all backgrounds. I love mutual respect and mutual understanding.
My purpose in opening this thread is simple. There are a ton of questions about Mormonism and all too often people are misled or misguided. I invite anyone interested in learning the real truth about Mormonism to post in this thread.
I am not interested in ‘Mormon haters’ or ‘Mormon bashers’ participating in this thread. Jesus Christ made it clear that His is a gospel of love and peace. That is the spirit of this thread.
I’m a believer in consistency, fairness, and truth. I will not ‘sugar coat’ or try and hide anything. Anyone who really knows and understands the history and doctrine of Mormonism, will never feel a need to do anything but share the truth with confidence. I welcome all honest viewpoints, questions, and commentary from both Latter-day Saints and non-Latter-day Saints.
