I seem to always be giving away all of the medals and crucifixes. I buy them and it seems within a week I just get a feeling to take off my medals and give it to aa specific person. Is this a bad thing because I’m always left without my sacramentals in the end? Also I’ll include the fact that I am on RCIA right now just incase that changes answers.

I think if you can afford to do it,that it’s a valuable guesture 🙂
Perhaps choose one that is extra special to yourself and keep it,have some spare in your pocket to give away.

I dont think there’s anything wrong in that. It’s a spirit of poverty, giving where you see the need. All things belong to God, nothing is yours (or mine) or anybody’s anyway, so being open to giving something you have been loaned by God to someone else when he asks this of you, is a good thing. God bless you.

I tend to give away sacramentals often as well. You might want to look in to St. Paul Street evangelization website for very inexpensive medals and prayer cards. They have an online store. If you are a member (15.00 per month) you will be able to get rosaries for free. The medals come in packs of 50 for like ten bucks… I also like Autom for inexpensive catholic materials.
