My favorite band ever is Switchfoot. And they’re coming out with a new CD this summer! Yay! anyway… their lyrics are never objectionable, and are very inspirational. They’re just plain amazing!

Anyone else like The Violet Burning?

here’s what i have what i consider christian music =D most aren’t very contemporary in the way it’s poppish. most of it’s more folk or even hard rock.

hillsong united - lead me to the cross
lifehouse - everything, look up the skit on youtube if you haven’t. it made me cry when i watched it!
i have a few mercyme, casting crowns songs too.

mostly i’d listen to mewithoutyou - especially brother, sister album. the lyrics are great. they are more heavy rock. they are one of my top favorite bands.

and i’m really getting into my only sufjan stevens cd, ‘seven swans’. the seven swan song, from what i’ve read, is about how the main singer had a vision of seven swans and the song is also about revelation. but the rest of the cd is beautiful, especially ‘transfiguration’.
