What is the meaning of this response?

Let me remind you that i am your intellectual superior. Poor creature; dare i say that i am more intelligent than Aquinas?

Interesting; I don’t recall ever seeing the “sub-to-ReapReason-intellect” (the Dear St. Thomas) ever saying, “*I answer that: *What is the meaning of this response?”.

I don’t believe Thomas would ever categorize his intellect, understanding as he did that his soul and intellect were not corporeally measurable, but, like his God, were recognized in their effects, and his soul and intellect, like his God, were matters of faith. “I am” is an assertion of faith.
