while she’s doing well with the gall bladder surgery, during tests they found a lump in one of her breasts. We have an appointment tomorrow at 2:30pm for a sonogram and a mamogram.

She has had cysts in her breasts before and I’m praying that’s all it is this time too!

Merciful Jesus, during Your life on earth You showed great concern for the sick and the infirm. Have compassion now on Cecilia who is ill and who has found a lump in her breast. Grant her a healing of mind and body and restore his strength and spirit.

Comfort her with the knowledge that we are praying for her and her family and friends, and give them peace with a sense of Your presence. May they know that in a special way they are united with You, their suffering Christ. May they contribute to the welfare of the Whole People of God by associating themselves freely with Your passion and death for the salvation of the world. Bless, too, those who take care of the sick. In their own time of need, bestow on them a hundredfold the blessings they have given to others. Amen
 
Rocket I feel bad that you have more to be concerned about. Please God, Cecilia will be okay.

Prayers for Cecilia. My nephew called and his fiancee was just diagnosed today with cysts in her breasts. St. Agatha, patron of those who suffer with diseases of the breast, protect and intercede in their healing. We ask all these prayers through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
 
Update: Cecilia had a sonogram and a mamogram yesterday and they showed what appeared to be calcified cysts. The doctor wants her to have an MRI also to make sure there is nothing more than that. So we’ll be scheduling that next week. We are optimistic because her sisters have had the same problems and there was no cancer.
