Continuing the discussion from Prayer for friend Julie:
Salutations all,
It’s been 5 yrs now. Julie is still alive. It is questionable about the quality of her life.
Since last post, she almost died 3 times…it’s so complicated, I’ll spare you.
Anyway. Her life= She is conscious and has courage and wants to survive w grandson, who has Cystic Fibrosis, to graduate HS. She has purpose. Her R shoulder is bone on bone pain. Rotator cuff removed. Her L arm that she broke falling into wheel chair had to have 2inches of infected bone removed Had 5 surgeries on it before removal. Gross looking!
She can’t lift L arm up x to elbow height and side to side hand movements. Her R arm can only raise
60 %… Hips=L hip has been stable. She’s had R hip problems since 5 yrs ago.4 replacements if prosthesis. Two open cleanings of bad infections. One of the adjustments after she dislocated R hip w fall, the bone cut an artery. Her abd blew up. Thinking gut. But her hemoglobin dropped to 5.0 and she was pale. 10 hrs of bleeding later and 5 units of blood, the bleeding stopped. Last surgery 2 wks ago. Total replacement of a fractured prosthetic hip. So far, maybe good. She can walk w a walker. Thank you Jesus.
Just pray for strength and courage. Less pain and best function. Healing is through successful surgeries. I know some ministers have seen legs grow but, I haven’t. It would be cool for the missing bone to grow back in L arm. But, if my inexperience in faith in this is a bad thing for me to have… OPPS.
God may have wanted her but she keeps fighting for Austin.
Thy will be done Lord. Keep Angels around her to minister to her and let her be aware. Love and peace Lord. Grace for the family to be strong as they care for her. Poor Tom, her husband, just had spinal surgery.

Crusaderbear and all,
Poor Julie is in hospital again. 2 wks ago,her R hip prostesis broke. They had to replace it! She thought things were going good but: IT GOT INFECTED AND STARTED BLEEDING! The snow is on ground and traveling an hour and half to Duke is not possible. This hospital started antibiotics. A new infection means they have to remove infected hardware and replace it. It seems to me they might get more creative. If hip is in alignment, open to drain w woundvac??!!Anyway, the roads may be good tomorrow.
I don’t know if I shared her rectal prolapse w repair and her intestines getting nicked=PERITONITIS & SEPSIS. Near death but pulled through. Had problems w intestines(not going into detail). But, we may have some improvement.
Praise reports: fractured ribs healed.
Has learned to walk w L arm & missing bone.
Survived above Peritonitis and Sepsis.
Improving gut action. Healed pneumonia
Has been able to walk a little. Comes and goes.
Is alive!!
Thank You, Lord. For helping Julie to travel through many painful, scary moments. You are w her. She maintains her faith. She feels your love. We praise You. Guide her to safely get to Duke. Help doctors have wisdom and courage. Help nurses have compassion.in Jesus Name

Julie is home after replacement of infected R hip
Prosthesis. Hope she will heal w/o problems. Thank you Lord. She is Your child. The reason for this prolonged trial is unknown to us. Please reveal the reason. Send angels to minister to her. Holy Spirit Comfort her. THANK YOU, FOR HEALING HER. A prayer of positive affirmation.

Dear God,I know you love us. You want us to love each other. Bless Katie777. She’s a prayer warrior. Julie hangs in there. It’s so much she has gone through. She struggles to have a life but pushes herself too soon and hurts her recovery. I thank You, ABBA for her little victories. Holy Spirit Comfort her. Stop her pain or give her moments of comfort.

Almighty and Eternal God,
You are the everlasting health of those who believe in You.
Hear us for Your sick servant Julie, for whom we implore
the aid of Your tender mercy, that being restored to bodily
health, she may give thanks to You in Your Church.

Lord, njlisa has been faithful in remembering Julie in her prayers. Hear her prayers. Father and make something good in Julie. Bless njlisa, Lord.

Julie had R hip replaced twice in 2 mo. Infected. Groan! Lots of pain w minimal relief.
Still courageous. Doing a little more for self. Can’t do normal stuff. Still a Believer. Comfort in faith.
Grandson Austin=16 yo wCyatic Fibrosis is doing fairly well. Has to go in hospital on Tues.for bronchoscopy, PICC line and antibiotics. Like a tune up.
Tom, Julie’s husband has had 4 lumbar back surgeries. Recent 2 mo ago. A little better.
Has taken care of Julie these five years w horrible situations. Truly lives for better or worse.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Julie). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Julie’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Thank you. Tom is a grouchy old, faithful Special Forces Vet. He does kind things but grumbles. My husband does that too.
