My husband and I got married this last June 24th, and just found out about 2 weeks ago I was diagnosed with PCOS (Cysts on my ovaries that make ovulation difficult) and on top of it, a Unicornuate Uterus (half of a uterus). So not only is it going to be hard just to GET pregnant but STAYING pregnant will be a whole different challenge. Miscarriages, premature birth, poor fetal development are all the high risks associated with becoming pregnant with what I have.

We are still technically able to get pregnant since one of my fallopian tubes is connected and works perfectly, but know that I absolutely understand what you and your wife are going through. Infertility is such a scary, intimidating, and overall confusing thing. It is so out of your control. It is odd because you know we are so blessed to be healthy and have a roof over our heads, and it is not the same as having some type of terminal illness that is out of your control in that similar sort of way, but the sadness is still there. I am so frustrated with God, I just wish I was 100% infertile so then my husband and I wouldn’t keep being disappointed each month I get my AF (Aunt Flow/Menstruation).
We also know IVF and IUI are completely out of the picture since it is for obvious reasons completely immoral and against the teachings of Christ and His Church.

Just remember, you and your wife are not alone, there’s another couple like my husband and I, along with the other hundreds of thousands of couples struggling with infertility issues right now! Sending prayers, blessings, and unbelievable peace your way. Keep us in your prayers too 🙂 😉

When the time is right, God will bless you, keep praying, keep trusting in Him and His will. He’ll send ya’ a little baby when it’s time.
Who knows? Maybe there’s a child in need for adoption that is to be your new son or daughter? God is full of surprises 🙂
