Thank you all for your prayers. I don’t know what I would do without the prayers of my brothers and sisters in Christ here at CAF. 👍

Prayers for everyone who suffers from mental and emotional illness:

Remember oh most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence I fly unto thee oh Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. Oh Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Saint Dymphna, holy patron of the mentally and emotionally ill, pray for everyone who suffers from these sometimes devastating illnesses. Amen.

Saint Christina the Astonishing, holy patron of the mentally and emotionally ill, pray for everyone who suffers from the effects of of mental and emotional illness.

Saint Raphael the Archangel, holy patron of healers and healing, please pray for those who suffer from mental and emotional illness that they would be able to find the care they need and the healing they need. Pray that they would feel God’s loving presence in their time of need. Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Loving God,

Please hear the persistent prayers and petitions of your loving children in this intention. Please bless and have mercy on all your people suffering from all sorts of mental diseases, and especially depression, panic/anxiety attacks, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ocd, Aspergers syndrome, Alzheimers, and related maladies. Please help them not to lose hope, to maintain a strong faith, to follow the remedies and improvement strategies of their medical care givers, and cure them if it be your Holy will. Please bless all who minister to these folks, especially close family and the medical care givers that we might help these special people to prosper and live out their calling with joy and peace.

I pray especially for Georgia, for Dean, for Holly3278, for Diane, for tbcrawford’s relative, for hyldad, for Lorraine, for pollylodges, for three of my family members, and for my mother in law.

Dear Lord, we also thank you for sending us prayer partners to pray for these difficult intentions. Thank you for tbcrawford, hyldad, reindeer, sidhe54, Laura15, Pier, Holly3278, and all who pray for your suffering people.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women and
blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Pope Benedict XVI composes prayer for the unborn

Lord Jesus,
You who faithfully visit and fulfill with your Presence
the Church and the history of men;
You who in the miraculous Sacrament of your Body and Blood
render us participants in divine Life
and allow us a foretaste of the joy of eternal Life;
We adore and bless you.

Prostrated before You, source and lover of Life,
truly present and alive among us, we beg you.

Reawaken in us respect for every unborn life,
make us capable of seeing in the fruit of the maternal womb
the miraculous work of the Creator,
open our hearts to generously welcoming every child
that comes into life.

Bless all families,
sanctify the union of spouses,
render fruitful their love.

Accompany the choices of legislative assemblies
with the light of your Spirit,
so that peoples and nations may recognize and respect
the sacred nature of life, of every human life.

Guide the work of scientists and doctors,
so that all progress contributes to the integral well-being of the person,
and no one endures suppression or injustice.

Give creative charity to administrators and economists,
so they may realize and promote sufficient conditions
so that young families can serenely embrace
the birth of new children.

Console the married couples who suffer
because they are unable to have children
and in Your goodness provide for them.

Teach us all to care for orphaned or abandoned children,
so they may experience the warmth of your Charity,
the consolation of your divine Heart.

Together with Mary, Your Mother, the great believer,
in whose womb you took on our human nature,
we wait to receive from You, our Only True Good and Savior,
the strength to love and serve life,
in anticipation of living forever in You,
in communion with the Blessed Trinity.

St. Dymphna, pray for us.
St. Jude, pray for us, especially when we are feeling most anxious or hopeless.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, our Mother, pray for us.
O Sacred Heart of Jesus, You who love us so much, help us to know Your love for us especially in our deepest times of pain. You know my fears that I have now. Please calm my fears and help us to find a way out of our troubles. I love You Lord. Thank you for all You do for me.
Amen
