St. Dymphna, pray for us. Lord God, ever present in the Holy Eucharist, I place all our needs at your feet. If it is Your Will, remove the newest source of my anxiety. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us. St. Joan, I admired you as a child and took your name when I was confirmed, pray for us. Lord Jesus, You suffered the most mental anguish in the Garden, I offer mine to You for all those who suffer, and in thanksgiving to You. Forgive my sins. I love you Lord.:signofcross:

Loving God,

Please hear the persistent prayers and petitions of your loving children in this intention. Please bless and have mercy on all your people suffering from all sorts of mental diseases, and especially depression, panic/anxiety attacks, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ocd, Aspergers syndrome, Alzheimers, and related maladies. Please help them not to lose hope, to maintain a strong faith, to follow the remedies and improvement strategies of their medical care givers, and cure them if it be your Holy will. Please bless all who minister to these folks, especially close family and the medical care givers that we might help these special people to prosper and live out their calling with joy and peace.

I pray especially for Georgia, for Dean, for Holly3278, for Diane, for tbcrawford’s relative, for hyldad, for Homeimprguy, and for three of my family members.

Dear Lord, we also thank you for sending us prayer partners to pray for these difficult intentions. Thank you for Rocket, tbcrawford, sidhe54, hyldad, mlz, AlanFromWichita, and all who pray for your suffering people.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

Amen.

  • Praying for all those so afflicted and their families’/loved one’s spiritual, emotional and physical needs, whether able to post or not…
Lord Jesus Christ, You have willed that St. Dymphna should be invoked by thousands of clients as the patroness of nervous and mental disease and have brought it about that her interest in these patients should be an inspiration to and an ideal of charity throughout the world. Grant that, through the prayers of this youthful martyr of purity, those who suffer from nervous and mental illness everywhere on earth may be helped and consoled. .

Be pleased to hear the prayers of St. Dymphna and of Your Blessed Mother. Give those whom I recommend the patience to bear with their affliction and resignation to do Your divine will. Give them the consolation they need and especially the cure they so much desire, if it be Your will. Through Christ, Our Lord. Amen.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as it as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive
those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou among women,and
blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us now, and
at the hour of our death.
Amen

Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, as is and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell,
lead all souls to heaven, especially, those in most need of Your Mercy.
Amen

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins,
my Mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions,
but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
Amen.

Praying as well for the intercession of St. Lydwine of Schiedham, patroness of those afflicted with prolonged suffering and chronic illness and Servant of God Father Nelson Baker…

Praying for Homeimprguy and the person he loves… *

My wife has Borderline Personality Disorder. She went off one night and attacked me with a cast iron skillet, then called the police and told them that I hit her! I spent a month in jail for domestic abuse because she got hurt when I pushed her away from me. After a month I got out and she attacked me again. This time I spent 118 days in jail and the next time I would have to go to prison. I am just trying to warn people about what could happen. I pray for my wife, I can no longer live with her and it is tearing me up inside. Please pray for her and all who have problems like this. I know that I am not alone in this suffering. God has answered my prayers in the past and I will continue to pray for every one that has to deal with some one like this on a daily basis. I love my wife, but I can 't live with her, call her or see her, it is hard. Please God give me strength, thank You!

St. Dymphna & St. Philomena, join us in prayer for the mentally and emotionally ill. Thanks.

Lord God, You hear our prayers. You care about everyone in the world. Bring other compassionate and understanding people into their lives to build them up. Help them to deal with negative people that come into their lives so relapse will be prevented. Lord, heal them to shine Your glory through so more people will come to believe in You and the intercession of Your saints. May they not be afraid to tell others that You’re working in their lives. I pray for those who are pregnant with a mental illness, that they and their children will be healthy throughout pregnancy and that post-partum relapse will be prevented.

Amen.

Please include me,Lorraine, in your prayers. I am bipolar. I am 62 and did not get my
dianosis until landing in the county mental health hopital after my first suicide attempt.
This happened 8-9 years ago and for the first time I knew why my life was so screwed up.
I returned to the church a year ago after a 45yr absence and have a difficult time desiring a
close relationship with Our Lord. At age 4 I was raped and was very emotionally scarred
by it. But a priest, Father Lyons, has been working with me individually since my return.
Memories of this event no longer haunt me daily along with extreme breakdowns. But I
am puzzled as to why I don’t seem to develope a deep relationship with Our Lord.
