What is the Islamic teaching regarding the use of contraception? Also, what is the Islamic view on masturbation and other sexual practices which are not open to the possibility of creating human life?
There is, regarding the first question, a difference of opinion. The answer depends on whether matters are temporary or permanent and the reason for use. For example–to protect the health of the mother, definitely allowed. As a non-health-related permanent measure against pregnancy without consent of both spouses, definitely not allowed.What is the Islamic teaching regarding the use of contraception? I believe Islam contains elements of truth, and I believe they worship the God of Abraham; although their knowledge is obsured by the fact that they also believe in many falsehoods and lies.Who cares what the Mahometan view on anything is, since it starts from a premise of total error?
