Contraception and Sexual Deviances

Perversions have been around since the beginning of time. However, with the widespread availability and acceptance of birth control I do believe that these immoral behaviours have increased.

Contraception takes away the consequence of sex. This means that people who indulge in practices such as incest don’t have to worry about pregnancy.

Promiscuity has definitely increased. People don’t have to worry about Sexually Transmitted Infections or unwanted pregnancy anymore.

Having read Humane Vitae recently, I believe that Paul VI’s predictions have come true.

It would be fair to say. We should clarify, that “Lust is the root of all perversion.” The condom was in use back in the days of the romans, so it isn’t really a new idea to contracept. The idea is to have sex for pleasure without consequence. And that is the key to the contraceptive mentality, trying to get rid of consequence.

What they want to do is get rid of the child causing the child to be “unborn” that is to reverse the birth. But we see that union of the flesh is necessarily bound before GOD even by the natural law, in the covenant of the flesh which is manifested in their children. This indissoluable union of the flesh is a covenant of the flesh as long as man and woman of the union shall live in the flesh. Thus the contraceptive mentality is linked to the divorce mentality, which was supported in the Mosaic Law. The abortive mentality then comes from the “divorce” mentality which desires to undo the bond of the flesh which is covenant in GOD. This leads to the break down of taboos, and allows for more perversions all of which are rooted in lust.

Therefore we can show a link between a contraceptive, abortive society, and the break down of taboos, and lust, leading to greater perversions. Because of pornography their own temptations are turned to wicked thoughts continually, as porn addicts, and their deeds are not less wicked. Therefore at every level we see that this is truly a wicked and adulterous generation.
 
Contraceptives have been around for 1000s of years. Even way back in the days of Egypt. Perversions have also been around since near the beginning.

I believe the perverse mind and soul that wishes no consequences is the conjurer of both.

I just used it as an example. I have no idea whether it has increased. I could have chosen promiscuity as an example to make my point.

My point was that its easier to indulge in things like that because contraception takes away the possibility of pregnancy. As for the statistics, I haven’t the foggiest, but I would think that it was extremely rare.
 
It doesn’t matter how long contraception has been around. The issue is that now, the almost universal ACCEPTANCE of it has dramatically shifted the understanding of marriage and sex. Before 1930, ALL religions agreed that ABC was illicit. People were highly influenced by this agreed upon theology and it was reflected in the culture. Once religion condoned the separation of sex from procreation, people were given permission to explore all manner of hedonism without consequence. Dividing the two purposes of sex is now part of the human consciousness. Aside from remembering to take a pill every day, most folks don’t even give a thought to the biological reason for sex. Our culture is so indoctrinated with the contraceptive mentality, it really takes an act of God to shake people into awareness.

It looks like, for the purposes of actual communication, you might want to restrict yourself to using as examples what you actually mean and know to make your point. Making statements such as “because of x, a,b, y and q have increased” when you have no idea at all of the prevalence of y and q, whether that prevelance had increased or decreased and no basis for saying that either are related to x does no good to the credibility of your arguments. In fact, quite the opposite.
 
Are you looking for support for your sins. you know what is right and you know what is wrong. Sin destroys light, and if you can’t tell the different between right and wrong, and need to know from other sinners who have lived the same immoral sin you are asking about, your in trouble. Our country is going to be destroyed because of Sins. God will destroy the sinners, in his own do time, God said If you love me keep my commandments, Which God do you follow???
