Contraceptive abortion

I wonder if anyone can answer these questions for me. God said “I have given to you every herb bearing sedd…” We are designed IMO for vegetarians. There are herbs too God gave us that cause abortion in a woman. There are fruits that if a woman eats she will never have a child. Sage is a contraceptive use. With all these things existing it might seem that maybe God allows a certain type of contraception with herbs. 🤷 I do not want to dispute the church’s teaches but does anyone have any opinions here?
 
I would say, from the information I’ve gathered, that if the reason you are eating those herbs (sage) is for contraception, than it is wrong. However, if you are using it for a legitamate purpose, such as cooking with it because you like the flavor, than it is not wrong.

Also, I want to say that I have no idea whether sage does or does not have the effect you mentioned, I am simply using it because you brought it up.

I should’ve mentioned sage used by women is a contraceptive. I have never used a contraceptive. And I am not sexually active. At one time before baptism but I never used contraceptives. Sage has many medical and nutrtional benefits.
 
God also gave us coca plants, should I go snort a line of cocaine now? Or how about shooting up with heroin since the poppy plant is natural?

I see your point. That’s a misuse. BTW Is Onan’s example the only thing the church goes by to teach against masterbation? I guess that would be enough but where does the church get all it’s beliefs?
