Exactly! In general, we read, we understand what we can and we say it to help the others.
snippets of scripture doesn’t tell us much. CONTEXT is everything. each verse belongs in context to it’s particular book and those books belong in context within the Bible itself.
anybody can quote scripture. but do you understand what is being said? Do you really want to understand what is being said?
If there is anything wrong in what I’ve just said, you can point it explicitly so that it will be a good teaching for anyone who may have the same dilemma reading the Bible.

There is nothing 'wrong ’ going on. But dilemmas are created easily correcting those dilemmas then become more difficult. A good study Bible is helpful.taking a good Catholicbible study is even better. The Agape Bible study is great. It comes with charts maps and other helps. Scott Hahn actually has a great study nonlinear. I would stick to a Catholic study. Doing Protestant or non denominational can be very confusing. Depending onwhat church or preacher can get you conflicting responses.
