Convalidation Invitation Wording

My Husband and I are having our Convalidation Ceremony in October. I have completed the RCIA program and was baptized Catholic. My husband was raised Catholic. We also had to go through an annulment process due to prior marriages. My question is how should I word the invitations. We were married by a JOP in 2012. I do not want anything fancy. However I want to make sure that I word things correctly. I have searched and searched and here is what I have come up with so far:

TOGETHER WITH THEIR FAMILIES AND IN FRONT OF FRIENDS AND GOD ABOVE
MR. AND MRS.
INVITE YOU TO SHARE IN THE JOY AND CELEBRATION OF THE MARRIAGE CONVALIDATION CEREMONY
ON SUNDAY, MONTH DAY, YEAR
AT ONE O’CLOCK IN THE AFTERNOON
CATHOLIC CHURCH
ADDRESS

or

MR. AND MRS.
REQUEST THE HONOR OF YOUR PRESENCE
AT THE CONVALIDATION CEREMONY WHERE WE WILL [VERB] OUR MARRIAGE
IN THE SACRAMENT OF HOLY MATRIMONY

Please help with examples!!

I really like the first example, although I think the first line could use tweaking (or eliminating) because “in front of friends and and God above” sounds heavy handed to me:

MR. AND MRS. SMITH, TOGETHER WITH THEIR FAMILIES,
INVITE YOU TO SHARE IN THE JOY AND CELEBRATION OF THEIR MARRIAGE CONVALIDATION CEREMONY
SUNDAY, MONTH DAY, YEAR
AT ONE O’CLOCK IN THE AFTERNOON
CATHOLIC CHURCH
ADDRESS
 
The convalidation ceremonies I’ve known of have been small so no written invitations were used. Are you planning a large ceremony? Perhaps phone calls or in-person invitations would be an option?

SuscipeMeDomine - We are not having a large ceremony. However because we did the JOP wedding I wanted to do a little invitation for family. Plus the majority of my family is non catholic and they don’t truly understand what the Convalidation is for.
 
My fear would be that non-Catholics and even many Catholics would not know what the word convalidation means. Are these all people who know your situation? If not, perhaps you could put an explanatory sentence at the bottom of the invitation.

Something like:

Convalidation is a wedding ceremony whereby the Catholic Church blesses a civil marriage with the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony.
