I’m very excited. Today, my wife and I will have our marriage of nearly 13 years convalidated in the Church. We’re also going through RCIA together and look forward to full communion with the Church in the Spring. Although she never was Confirmed, my wife did receive First Communion as a child so she will be able to partake of the sacraments of reconcilliation and the Eucharist after today. I was baptized Catholic but never had First Communion…something I look forward to with great anticipation.
It feels so good to know that my family has our spiritual lives on track. I’m getting ready for Mass and our Convalidation ceremony which will be held directly after, and just wanted to share some of my excitement. Have a great day everyone.
