I don’t think so. You abandoned that thread… at least for the time being. As such I am winning so far. Not to mention that it is very bad form to perform thread-hopping. If I recall it correctly, it is also against the rules. And I did not “know” that you will abandon that thread, I just suspected It.
My suspicion was based upon the previous threads where you quickly disappeared into the night when you ran of the arguments. Especially since the question of demonology is part of the catholic doctrines. Just go back and present a good refutation.

Well, these suppositions are good they do not determine the times and the seasons established by The Father’s own authority. (ref. the beginning of Acts.)
But whether or not it were exact; or the other estimates at 6,000 are better, God only knows.
Times are rally bad now; with the Judaeo Christian ethic being suppressed and oppressed; with so many ill effects. Maybe Jesus Christ will establish The Kingdom;
with swords beaten into plowshares; but satisfying things like Psalm 149; with one
giant tribunal or Sanhedrin or Nuremberg Trials at the beginning of The Kingdom.
And maybe with His Justice and Peace flowing like a river; we will be in the Vestibule
of The Kingdom for a time of purification directed by The Holy Angels.
We just don’t know. Maybe if the Israel time frame is right; we have to wait until,
‘It is finished,’ on Good Friday. No one knows.
But thinking on these things does give hopeful anticipation in our daily lives;
striving to be always connected to Eternity as we take each moment praying, speaking, doing with our fellows; Proclaiming The Kingdom of God.

Really? I’ll have to re-read the rules. I didn’t realize that calling folks to standards of honesty and consistency was against the rules. I’ll have to double check that standard.
But, let me enter into positive territory: you’ve asked how you might engage a “knowledgeable apologist” who is “intellectually honest”. Some have recommended that you call into various radio programs. I think that this might not be a bad idea for you. However, let me offer some recommendations:
- Others have recommended brevity and conciseness of expression. In a radio show, that’s a great recommendation.
- Since your issue isn’t the abstract problem, or the Catholic response, but rather your take on the Catholic respons, I would recommend that your question take on the tenor of what you really want to ask.
Good luck. I would think that Jimmy Akin, or perhaps, Dr David Anders, might be a worthy interlocutor for you. We’ll be listening…

Thanks a lot for the soft light you have given. unknowingly you have shed light on an issue which was blurry. Could it also mean, with the Jewish time frame, after the midnight of time, ( we are around 12.40 on Good Friday or 18.40 a few Hours) we enter a “Millennium” Sabbath for a really long rest?

Someday we will enter Eternal Rest.
But when we do; all things must be reconciled as to the effects of our short comings.
So even though all sin, for those Written in The Book of Life will forever be forgiven;
our inner selves, and relationships great and small must be reconciled at the
beginning of Eternal Rest. Why does Genesis say ‘the evening and the morning’ the first day and so on? Could it be that God wanted to reveal to us, that while the day
begins at day break in Israel, something happens to form that day before it begins.
So, 6 p.m. (In the beginning) God created (the heavens) — time and space;
and beginning with Adam and Eve before a seed was planted; and before it rained on the earth; (and the earth) matter.
So even though 6 p.m. begins the Sabbath on Good Friday; and by Israel’s time table
we have approximately 5 hours and 25 minutes left; we can be reconciled to when
consciousness was created as the start of the sixth day - before sun rise. This is difficult to put into words. But God is not limited to what ever time table we come up with even if it is theologically sound bearing some truth. So, I think that the Gregorian way along side the Hebrew way of keeping track of days, coincide for a purpose.
____And since we long for the day, the affirmation of ‘the sooner the better,’ is a phrase of hope, in knowing lack of knowledge of God’s Time Table. Not at all challenging God on God’s Time Table. Yes?
And note that in Genesis 2, Adam and Eve were created before a plant sprung up and it rained upon the earth. Therefore, since God is no respecter of persons, in other words God treats everyone with perfect compassionate equity; everyone of us had a discourse with God, through the Personas of Creator, Redeemer, and Sanctifier before we walk the earth. We have reassurances that no matter what circumstances we find ourselves, God is leading us through it. So as an adult;
according to earthly knowledge; we are impartially judged on how we effected others.
To whom much is given much is required. This could be scary; but since our All Powerful Almighty God is Benevolent, lack of knowledge is not bliss; it is prudent
to receive as much knowledge from Above by Grace and act on it as best one is able; finding joy in self giving through this knowledge. So, while current Church belief, mainly to refute things like the myriad of tenets of reincarnation contrary to the
Judaeo Christian Truth of Salvation, is that a ‘soul,’ ‘consciousness,’ otherwise called ‘inmost being,’ coincides with creation of the body; the ‘soul’ is created with transcendental knowledge of Eternity; while earthly bodies are not. The point is, is that God already knows when sundown on Good Friday happens. God may bring peace, joy, rest from ‘sweating at the brow’ at any time;
according to His Perfect Goodness and Authority. But, while many are unawares;
we are living at a crossroads in history. Those who believe in a humankind directed
forming a Utopia have immense propaganda power, peer pressure power, political power; throughout the world. They have increasingly, having prepared ahead of time
honey speech playing at heartstrings rhetoric, championing some poor and oppressed; while not only marginalizing those they do not see as useful; severely helped by ‘political correctness’ and using real human painful hardships - actually
by purposely not reaching agreements to help the hardships - aid and abet at exacerbating them — then blame the other side. This tactic is notorious in history.
But I digressed. By these means and others; like using the moral teaching of The Church, but hide, fog over, put a veil — with revisionist wonderful sounding propaganda; that they have taken unprincipled different sides on many issues;
while in our nation detracting from the intentions of The Founding Fathers regarding
objective understanding of The Laws of Nature and of The God of Nature mentioned
in The Declaration of Independence. We were warned by Encyclicals, other Christian faith traditions as to what was transpiring during the last century.
But there was way too much railing at the darkness; and not enough compassion
exhorted or done in the hedgerows and highways. There was immense ammunition
used by propagandists to paint teaching that true freedom is doing what we ought,
as oppressing liberty. And now, even some of the good willed learned in The Church;
not completely in-cognizant of these things; rather than building on The Words of God inspired by The Holy Spirit to our time; with more creativity and exhorting the real practical help available and expanding this; exhorting what for which to stand up; and how these things and more are necessary to make The Gospel and true justice attractive — calling for more sacrifice in a time of dire straights and the beauty of that;;; — they have put certain things, contributing to extending dire consequences;
in the background; aiding and abetting, unknowingly the Utopian agenda.
There is no one group of conspirators. But so may intellectual elite; seeing lack of gumption and weaknesses; become of one mind on certain things. The only orchestra-tor is the con artist - Satan Himself. What is more insidious? A monstrous
totalitarian regime - to be opposed - or a dictatorship of moral relativism running powerfully without much sustained opposition in a seemingly free society; unless a person is not seen as useful; stands up with the Grace of God with the authentic Gospel of Jesus Christ for true freedom; or by the Grace of God and merits afforded by Jesus Christ; those of good will standing up, knowing they are objective; The Laws of Nature and The God of Nature. Isn’t Jesus Christ saying, if people really wanted The Kingdom of God more fully in the world; myriads of My attendants would be protecting it?
