Conversation with two non-Catholic Christians tomorrow (re: Pope and Magisterium, among other things)

Tomorrow afternoon, I am meeting with two non-Catholic Christians (for lunch!) for a dialog about the trustworthiness of the Magisterium of the Church (specifically regarding doctrine concerning membership in the Church and salvation).

Please pray for me, that the Holy Spirit would give me the words to say; and for B. and T. with whom I am meeting, that the Holy Spirit would touch their hearts to be open and receptive to the Catholic faith. B., in particular, is currently attending the RCIA program at my parish, and this dialog is part of an ongoing struggle he is having coming to terms with the claims the Church makes of Her necessity for salvation.

You can see some of the dialog thus far, in the form of a paper (PDF) from B. and my response (MS Word).

Prayers and Intercessions

Dearly beloved brethren, since we have received from the Apostles a heavenly inheritance, let us cry out in gratitude to the Father for all his gifts:
  • Lord, the Apostles sing your praises.
Praise to you, Lord, for the feast of body and blood that was handed down to us by the Apostles:
it refreshes us and gives us life.
Praise to you for the feast of your word that was prepared for us by the Apostles:
it fills us with light and brings us joy.
