Conversion from other faith

My maid was a Hindu and she was married to the husband of her elder sister. She was working for me for the past 12 years and in the last three years, seeing her earnestness towards our faith i took her to church and gave her lesson in catechism and finally she was baptized and received confirmation. Now when she moved back to her village the church there is not accepting this saying she is living in sin married to her sister’s husband !

The church there is relying on a Canon law which has been abolished by the Pope, Saint John Paul 2
The 1983 Cannon Law allows marriage between a woman / man with the widower /widow of a deceased sibling
