Blessed Easter, Everyone!

I wanted to share my joy at coming into full communion with the Church at last night’s Easter Vigil. What a moving, beautiful service!

I was one of five candidates (those who’d been baptized in another Christian faith). We also had four who were baptized, two teenaged confirmandi, and five adult confirmandi. The parish had a lovely reception for us after the service.

Now it’s time to get ready to go to Easter Mass. I know I technically don’t “have” to, since I was at the Vigil, but since I can actually receive the Eucharist now, wild horses couldn’t drag me away! 🙂

Congratulations to all the other RCIA “graduates” on the forum! Let’s let our lights shine for Christ!

Congratulations and welcome! I am very happy for you.

Peace be with you.

Let me join in your happy dance! :bounce::bounce::bounce:

I was received into full communion with the Catholic Church this Easter Vigil as well. 🙂 It was an absolutely amazing and beautiful service…it almost left me in tears. I felt so light and joyful afterwards (and I still feel that way!). For so long, I have been on the outside of the CC, looking in. And now I finally am a Catholic! It’s difficult for me to get my head around it.

It’s so overwhelming, but so wonderful at the same time. I just want to shout my joy from the rooftops. :extrahappy:

1,000 Congratulations!!!
May you continue to grow in faith an love and holiness and become a great saint.
Amen.

Same here. I was one of two candidates, and there were three catechumens that were baptized into the Christian Faith as well. All my family is out of state, so I didnt have any of them there, but the overwhelming support from my fellow parishioners more than made up for it. As thrilled as I am to finally officially be able to call myself a Catholic, I was very moved by witnessing 3 souls whom I have gotten to know over the last few months on RCIA be snatched from the Devil’s hands by being born again through baptism. Also it is great to finally have our Gloria and Alleluias back, all the way to Advent.

I was baptised 4 years ago on the Easter Vigil Night. We converts are always deeply moved by the Triduum. You’ll know it more fully next year.

Welcome Home, to the whole family of Faith: the household of God, the communion of the Word of Love. You’ll have to change your username now, though! 🙂

Congratulations to each of you!! Welcome Home.

May your faith continue to grow in your lifelong journey.

Praise God !

Congratulations, from me, as well!

I am very happy and excited for all of you who have just joined the church. 🙂

May God bless all of you!
