Do realize that this is a statement of Diesm, not really anything similar to creationism or what luv4mary is espousing. Besides, this hardly says anything relevent to my point. Luv4mary believes in god because she feels the variety in nature is unexplained. We have a good explination for the variety in nature, therefore she should no longer believe in god.mersenne
I would recomend reading “the origin of the species”. Alternatively, you could pick up any gradeschool level biology textbook. Sense there is a good answer to that question, does that mean that god doesn’t exist?
I agree … and here it is … straight from the horse’s mouth:
“There is grandeur in this view of life, with its several powers, having been originally breathed by the Creator into a few forms or into one; and that, whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been, and are being, evolved*.” Origin of the Species*, 1872 (last edition before Darwin’s death).
