Converting to RCC

Hello, Im a protestant, I love church history and i’m somewhat familiar with the Catholic faith, I live in India with my wife and two children. I am a missionary and a Pastor, I have just acquired a rosary and learning to pray with it, how do I convert to the RCC without causing the perfect storm the consequences would be more than i could bare. it would have huge ramifications. I would loose all support from usa, my wife would go ballistic, I would loose my ordination, my kids would suffer too. What do I do?
 
The first step, I would recommend is to make an appointment and talk with the local parish priest. You can give him the details and he can help you work through them.

There is no such conversion. There is only one body of Christ to which you are apart.
 
The potential issues of your conversation are surely very unsettling.
Hopefully the two suggestions already given will reassure you.
If God is calling you to Catholic conversion then He will give necessary graces. However your concerns are very understandable and it would require much courage.
I’ll pray for you and for your wife, for your future security and direction.

Another option is to contact the Missionaries of St Thomas. I know they are in Southern India but I am not sure if they are all over the country. The missionaries (mostly priests) who have been to Western and Northern Europe are used to protestants converting to the Catholic Church. (They might send missionaries elsewhere to.)
