Sometimes when I weak up and are laying in my bed “semi councious” I do think of the fact that Im Catholic and it always fill me my heart with this tremendous joy?
I mean, not joy like your just happy but really greatfullness, a greatfullness and joy that cant be described in words as words come up short.

This inner peace are a true gift of The Holy Spirit and I really do appreciate it everytime I have this feeling as it makes my faith stronger.

My question is, Do others feel this way sometimes too or do you have similar experiences that you`d like to share?

(sorry for my rather poor english, Im working on it trust me)

Yes, many of us experience higher levels of joy than normal when in prayer or contemplation at different times, convert or cradle Catholic not withstanding.

P.S. The apostrophe is part of English grammar and it is used in various ways such as when writing I am that is contracted to be written I’m. Hope that helps.

I too am a convert. Yes, I have felt as you describe. Now, sometimes I can also feel really disapointed too, as I seem to find others a bit disinterested in their Faith. Still, I try to remember that we can all have dry spells, which does not mean God is far from us, it is just part of the journey. So when you have those feelings of gratitude and peace please don’t forget to thank God and accept them as His gift for that time in your life.

When times are arid, you can fall back on these happier and more peaceful times to get through them.

Sometimes during Mass I will get an overwhelming feeling a gratitude that I was lead to the Catholic church. It took me awhile to come home but here I am 11 yrs later and still feeling so happy that I made the choice.
