. Even though I love Rosaries and have about 10 of them----I haven’t been able to bring myself to either learn how to pray with them or been taught yet their beauty. I hope to however.

The rosary is an extended guided meditation on the gospels, done in union with Mary, Mother of Jesus, Mother of God.
get hold of a booklet with a Scriptural Rosary, there are several, but Franciscan University Press has a good one. Pray the rosary with the Apostles Creed at the beginning, and the Our Father at the beginning of each decade, and for each bead a scripture verse. The purpose of the beads is not only to “keep track” but to measure progress. You are meditating on the meaning of the scripture, and you stay on each bead as long as the verse is still “speaking” to you, then you move on to the next.
Catholics who have been praying the rosary properly for a long time have the scriptures memorized, and the Hail Mary is a union of their meditation with that of Mary, who perpetually beholds the face of her Son, as we will do someday. It is definitely not blah blah, any more than the angels continually repeating hosannahs, alleluias and glorias in heaven is “blah blah”.
If you can’t find a scriptural rosary book, just open Luke’s gospel and use a verse at a time. if you are a good Protestant or evangelical you already have large chunks of this memorized, and are ready to roll.
