Todays mass featured the Monstrance. If you feel a holy spiritual feeling upon seeing it, it’s good for your spiritual being I find.

The Mass (and the Liturgy of the Hours) is liturgy, not mere devotions. As such, they are a higher form of worship. The rosary and devotions are fine practices and great things to do. Joining yourself to the liturgy, however - even spiritually from a distance - is more beneficial for the soul.

I don’t disagree. My point was not well made. Big the original poster saw no value in watching a mass online, I was questioning why he would find value in other prayers.

You’re not required to watch Mass on EWTN (8AM and Noon Sundays, and 8AM, Noon, and 7PM weekdays) or online. But I don’t understand why we would not choose to watch Mass if travel is banned, and when we have more time on our hands.
The Rosary, Chaplet of Divine Mercy, and the Liturgy of the Hours are great, too.

From a selfish standpoint, I just enjoy the visuals of Mass. So, watching it online is better than nothing.

I have been watching the Mass on EWTN and love it. I am used to a small rural parish with one singer, so listening to the choir and the chant is really enjoyable.
