I never heard of her before I saw this incident on CNN so she hasn’t achieved “household name” status. But yes, it’s a truly strange and criminal act. She feels a sense of entitlement to which she had no right.

  • immature on her part
  • one cannot hear very well; however, she appears to “lick” the doughnut after her boyfriend and her pals appear to “dare” her to do the act. This doesn’t excuse her, nor her boyfriend’s, actions and she should be prosecuted if there is enough evidence. However, how many teenagers and young-20ish have done this very thing? I watched an individual pull a peanut butter jar off the shelf, open, and let her toddler scoop out a big ole finger full and so did she (!!!), cap the jar and stuff it back on the shelf! Yes I reported it to the store security… nothing happened! I had to go get the manager and have him pull the jar off the shelf because I wasn’t going to be accused of the theft!
The only reason we have heard about this is because someone made a few bucks selling this vid to the news and it was only interesting to the news and gossip rags because this is a well known Disney star. Wonder if they will pull her videos and engagements from their infotainment empire.
  • the audio quality is so poor that she could be asking for a different type of doughnut; however, she came out with an apology; thus, we can only surmise she made the comment. With that said, so many people in the USA make that same statement every day - stomping on and otherwise desecrating our country’s flag, spitting on our military, picketing outside our fallen’s funerals - she’s following the current “fad.” that our news and social media have portrayed as being normal.
  • Instead of hating on this young lady, we should be asking our Lord, and all the Angles and Saints to bring her to conversion, repentance, and for our Lord’s love and mercy on her soul.
"O Blood and water that gushed forth from the heart of Jesus, as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You”.

I wouldn’t have done anything like that even at the age of five. I was taught right from wrong and doing the right thing mattered to me. I also have never felt a sense of entitlement to which I have no right.

She got too much too fast. She should join forces with Justin Beiber. They are two of a kind and neither much good in their present state.

In principle we agree… and yet we should still pray for her.

Most likely when you were raised, the word “no” was used often and if needed backed up with something a little more attention grabbing, as was I, now days, an 11 year old boy playing hoops in a fenced backyard by himself is considered child abuse and making a child cry in public because it was scolded for doing something wrong will get the parent tossed in jail on a class-iv felony charge, and a crying baby on an airplane will result in the child being taken away and the parents arrested for interfering with a flight crew.

Such a sad state of affairs, at one time we had role models in our actors, musicians, athletes, and other public figures. Children were praised when they did good, and scolded when they did bad. Any adult could yell at a kid and pretty much knew how to get ahold of their parents - where the kid caught the wrath of the parent when they returned home. Now, it seems, that the hedonistic culture has the upper-hand and children are allowed to do anything they want without any supervision. And society wonders what has happened. 🤷

Actually, I was raised (from the age of five to eighteen) in a Carmelite cloister where my aunt was the Mother Superior, so I heard the word “no” on an almost daily basis. LOL I also had to get up at four in the morning to pray and contemplate. In the long run, I’m very grateful for the grace it provided me.

I really hope someones tax money is not being wasted on actual police investigating this dumb event, if she had not made that comment about america, no one would be saying anything negative about her.

I don’t care what she says about America myself. I do care that she licked some donuts and transferred her germs onto them.

I don’t wish the donut shop any harm, but I hope they’ve learned to keep their donuts behind glass all the time where unscrupulous non-customers can’t reach them.

I would doubt her fans have much money.
They probably dont, but their parents do, how else can 100s of 1000s of young tweens afford $150+ tickets, merchandise, clothing, trying to dress like her, etc?

In, the end, Im sure Grande has enough money to buy the entire city block that donut shop is on, Id bet the shop owner is looking for a payday from her.

I hope he gets it.😃
I agree, hes due about $2.00, but article never said if the 4 person group bought anything in there, maybe they paid for those donuts already? Why would they go into a bakery in the first place, look around, and not buy anything?

Don’t feel bad, I had no idea who the dumb ho was either.

Ariana is the new young diva. she acts immature and spoiled.

hopefully, both she and the bakery have learned their lesson.

I agree she shouldn’t have done that but I wouldn’t eat at a donut shop that would put the donuts on the counter.

I thought the worker had carelessly set them there for a brief period while she went to the back? The donuts are not normallt displayed on the counter.
