Coptic Christian Pope: "We Pray for the Churches of Rome and Ethiopia"

Hi All,

Don’t know if this belongs in Christian news or here, but I figured I would pass on the good wishes of our (Coptic Orthodox) patriarch HH Pope Tawadros II at this time of great change in your communion. As reported by Christian Post, this is what HH had to say about the outgoing Roman Pope:

Pope Tawadros II said, “We are proud of the Roman Pope, the dialogue and his love, wisdom and high theological stature, as well as his participation with us, the Eastern churches, in all occasions including the most recent ordainment last November.”

Zekariya, i was trying to send you a private message. I know its odd, but i was watching this video on youtube, and it speaks about the different Churches and how they started. I believe the Coptic Church was the 1st church to have split off from the Catholic Church. I know that I could go off and investigate the similarities and differences between catholics and coptic christian. Im sorry if me trying to private message sounded weird. i accept if you decline not to answer.
