I believe that there is One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father [and the Son],
who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.

Hope this helps.🙂
What are trying to say here exactly?

I never denied that part of Holy Nicene Creed. From what you quoted, the Catholic teaching is the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church subsists within the Catholic Church. Which means the sole church of Christ is the Catholic Church. But I believe the Church goes on to say the Eastern Orthodox Churchs are on some way linked to the Church. I think this means they are apart of the Catholic Church and which is why union is in order.

And in my last post, I mentioned the Eastern Orthodox believe something similar that all Orthodox churchs in communion are the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. I’m just pointing this out.

Sadly, you are not the first to fantasize…

But the reality is as Cavaradossi has put it: These talks mean very little, in terms of establishing some sort of communion or will to it. The non-Chalcedonian Orthodox are very, very far behind in any talks of reunion with Rome. Reunion with the Eastern Orthodox has made more headway, and yet even that is, by all honest estimations on both sides, not likely forthcoming in any of our lifetimes.

There was once a movie named “From Here to Eternity”. I can wait.🙂

I think the Bishop of Rome sent legates instead. Which could be deacons or presbyters from Rome or other Italian bishops. They represented the Pope.
III. COUNCIL OF EPHESUS
Year:
431
Summary: The Council of Ephesus, of more than 200 bishops, presided over by St. Cyril of Alexandria representing Pope Celestine I, defined the true personal unity of Christ, declared Mary the Mother of God (theotokos) against Nestorius, Bishop of Constantinople, and renewed the condemnation of Pelagius.

Do a google search on “Coptic History of the Patriarchs” and read about the Tradition of the Coptic Church for yourself.

And here it is! 🙂

Nice call. The text seems to reveal that even on those days the Copts referred to St. Pope Peter as the “Chief” of the Apostles. Obviously, evidence seems to present itself. I love it! Egyptian history… How exotic. 👍
