I might be placing this in the wrong forum. What relationship does Pope Shenouda have to the entire Orthodox Church?

If you mean Shenouda III of Alexandria, he does not have much relation to any except the Church Triumphant now since his death last year. If we were to talk about Tawadros II as he currently reigns, we could say that he is head of the Coptic Orthodox Church, which is in the Oriental Orthodox communion, also known as non-Chalcedonian or Miaphysite due to their differing Christology. They are not in communion with the Eastern Orthodox or the Catholic Churches.

There are two Communions which call themselves “Orthodox” but are entirely separate movements. The Coptic Pope is a member of the Oriental Orthodox Communion, which includes the Coptic Church, the Ethiopian Church, the Syriac Orthodox Church, and the Armenian Orthodox Church (I may have missed some).

The Eastern Orthodox Communion is distinct from this. Although we offered prayers to Pope Shenouda, we have no ecclesiastical connection.
