In Catholicism May 14 this year is Ascension Feast of Our Lord. I just found out that May 16 happens to be “Ascension” of Mohammed. In addition Dec 25th is the Birthday of our Lord (Nativity) and lo and behold, apparently Dec 24 is Birthday of Mohammed.

Less here than meets the eye.

Of course in over 1400 years, the dates would very occasionally align. The two religions inhabit the same planet with the same seasons, after all!

Because the lengths of the calendar years are not the same, I imagine it would be some time before the dates match up again.
