I am often required to copy vocabulary words and their definitions from a text book. Would this be a violation of copyright since it is rather much and have been doing it for a long time?

If you are doing it for academic purposes, I think this would be considered “Fair Use”.I am often required to copy vocabulary words and their definitions from a text book. Would this be a violation of copyright since it is rather much and have been doing it for a long time?
