Also, on the inside page of a bulletin from a local nondenominational Christian Church, listed under “Core Beliefs,” I read:
Observe the Lord’s Supper (Communion) weekly as the “central act” (emphasis added) of Christian worship. (Luke 22:15-19; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
If this is so, shouldn’t it be the climax of the service and not the sermon?
