Corey Haim reportedly raped by prominent actor

I really don’t doubt that at all, and I also think the other Corey’s claims have the ring of truth to them. I think things tend to happen for reasons, and the fact that both of them became raging drug addicts while they were still in their teenage years says something. It fits every pattern and profile I’ve ever heard of.

I’m the same age as them, and when they were filming The Lost Boys a number of my friends met both of them, because I grew up in the area where that movie was made, and it took place in some really well known local hotspots. Other friends of mine, older people I used to hang out with, met both Kiefer and Donald Sutherland at this one well known bar they both hung out at while that film was being made.

It’s very sad what happened to the one guy; he died so young.
 
Of the two Corey’s, I always liked Corey Haim the best. I was sorry to hear he had died so young. Corey Feldman always seemed like an arrogant punk. I was rooting for Corey Haim to overcome his demons. He died too soon.
 
Well, I imagine they both had difficult childhoods, owing to fame and sexual abuse. People deal with things in different ways. I do wish that Corey Feldman would just come right out and name names, although if he’s worried about Hollywood gangsters blacklisting him or even hurting his family, then I can’t really second-guess him about not wanting to push it quite that far.

He knows he has the power making the accusations.

It is like “I know a secret, but I am not telling”. Just enough information to give him the publicity. Does Feldman even have a career anymore?
 
Oh, I have no idea. 🤷 The only two films of his I can even think of are The Lost Boys and Stand By Me, and his roles were relatively minor in both of them. One thing I know with certainty though, is that he would get a lot of attention if he were to name names.

Anything which potentially has the power to permanently damage the corrosive Hollywood machine, I’m basically in favor of.

And if he’s telling the truth, then he does have that power.

it should be reported so the offender does not assault anyone else.
 
Both of them were mocked relentlessly by virtually all males in the nineteen eighties who were in their age group, because they looked and acted extremely young, and because they had a sort of vaguely infantile quality about them. Probably also because your friend’s little sister would always be reading about them in Tiger Beat magazine, and making huge wall-size collages of them along with the Pet Shop Boys, Duran Duran, sparkly rainbow festooned unicorns, etcetera, etcetera. But I don’t think young people at that time were really aware of how sordid and sleazy and degenerate Hollywood is to it’s child stars. They probably would have been cut a lot of slack had any of this been known at the time.
 
I’ve seen and read a few things with Corey Feldman over the years and it’s hard not to speculate on who the abuser is. The fact that the abuse took place on set would indicate that it was a costar. Looking at Corey Haim’s credits, there aren’t many costars who fit the description given in the article:
“The individual — a household name and revered by millions around the globe — had systematically abused him as a young boy, both on-and-off set, in their trailers and at parties attended by other A-List actors, Haim told friends,” the report reads.

Feldman said it’s someone who is still prominent and powerful in Hollywood and was also prominent and powerful at the time. Haim’s few male costars who fit the description at the time are no longer living, and the ones who fit the description now weren’t really powerful or prominent at the time. The only one who comes close is one I’d really hope isn’t involved, not only because I like him as an actor but because I’m a big fan of the marvelous cinematic universe of which he’s currently a big part.

I’ve long believed that pedophilia is something Hollywood not only supports but even champions at time so I’ve never found the Coreys accusations to be shocking or incredulous. I do wish more people would come forward so that something is finally done about it.
 
I have heard for many years that Hollywood has been sort of at the top of the pedophile ring, I have a feeling if a serious investigation was ever done in this area, LOTS of well known celebs and hollywood big wigs would go down in flames, but that is unlikely to happen any time soon. Its pretty clear pedophilia is being pushed as an agenda, but I think it goes much deeper than we suspect…I really feel this is part of a larger satanic agenda.
 
I don’t mind weighing-in heavily and at great length on the subject of the two Coreys, but I flat out refuse to discuss The Donald and The Hillary. There are limits to even my endurance.

But as you say, Gordon, the images he has painted is extremely dark and ominous, and an evil picture begins to emerge when you piece together his various quotes on the subject. And even aside from all the mafiosos and sinister figures in the film industry, there are also entire families and bloodlines which wield enormous power in Hollywood, albeit submerged and hidden.

And, mikekle, I agree completely. My guess is that fantasy films like Eyes Wide Shut and The Ninth Gate probably paint a far truer picture than anyone realizes. I think it’s probably rather similar to Ian Fleming and John le Carré writing spy novels filled with a good bit of true information, but which no one dares believe because they’re so preposterous.

Feldman has stated that he wants to publicize this information but because there is a statute of limitations on the crime in CA, he could and likely would be sued by the accused without this individual receiving a criminal penalty. I’ve never been a fan of Feldman and I’ve always seen him as fame-hungry. But I also can’t disprove his statements regarding his choice.

I don’t know anything about the legal ramifications, but I know he gained some fame
for spending a lot of time with Michael Jackson at Neverland. He was one of many young boys befriended by Michael. He was and is definitely fame hungry. I can’t remember if he was called to testify at one of Michael’s trials. I was thinking he had denied anything happening, but I don’t know for sure. There were many child actors back in the 1980’s. It is too bad someone can’t give the police enough information to launch an investigation.
